Trip to Patchings

Today we visited Patchings Art Farm for our school trip. We met Liz the artist who told us all about aboriginal paintings. We all had a go at doing our own snake aboriginal painting using acrylic paint and cotton buds. We think our snakes and water holes are brilliant!

Thank you to Mrs Wagland for helping us today too!

Year 2 take part in the 500 words live lesson.

On Monday 16th January, the BBC streamed a live Creative writing lesson launching this years 500 words story writing competition. We all thoroughly enjoyed this fast paced and very creative lesson, sending in ideas and questions. Go to the 500 words website to explore more. Perhaps you could write and send a story in?
